They wouldn't have had to distance themselves if they hadn't jumped on the band-wagon in the first place.
I think the F.A. did jump to convince themselves that they were actively battling racism in football.
(just my opinion which won't matter, but I do think the F.A. live up or down, to their alternative name)
What's your question? There is black lives matter the slogan and black lives matter the political organisation. They're distancing themselves from the organisation.
Correct when I said "the players are supporting the movement, not the organisation. i.e. they're supporting the concept of the dismantling of systemic racism in society." The article confirms as much.
The organisation is a gift to those against both the movement AND the organisation, who happily conflate the two into one to suit their own purposes ... which are generally in opposition to the concept of the dismantling of systemic racism in society.
Which came first the organisation or the movement?
And then guess my next question.
By the way...you keep trying to insinuate that anyone who doesn't agree with you is in some way racist...what name do you have for black people who do not agree with you?
''The movement has more supporters than the organisation. For example, it seems that the Premier League supports the movement but not the organisation.''
So the premier league support de-funding the police and closing prisons do they?
I don't think that stance will go down well with the silent majority...have you got a link?
