Charity Money And Cy Pres Doctrine
8 Answers
Hi punters !
.
I am asking on behalf of a titled friend - I have a few - pretty wife I must say ! who wishes to remain anonymous.
.
Famous mother and he selflessly worked at charity work on account of his own large private income. Come the time when his charity was dissolved for reasons we wont go into here. The brothers split the funds and went their separate ways. one brother was good bt the other had an evil wife. His chairty money which was unfortunately referred to as his 'share' went into a company account .
everyone but the thick brother ( in thrall to his venal and greedy wife they all say) seem to say that charity money is NOT his to do what he wants - must NOT be paid into a company account, even non or low profit - and should NOT be taken across a border if the original charitable object is in this country
what do ABers think? and yeah before you say it - it is unlikely your advice will be followed

your majesty will suffice in an informal setting
( I like you holiness too in view of my unhealthy knowledge of the NT in Greek )
jesus how can you get a removed post on a question of misuse of charity funds
to the the person who said - - I think this is .....
see post no 2 - this is not news
Charity sources say that Prince Harry has pocketed his half of the divided charity with his bruvva and taken it out of the country. It is said an application has been made to the Charities Commission ( who are a crowd of tassers actually - I adjust "hopeless tassers"). and on the facts I have given is clearly unlawful
( and the answer is: repay the money into another charity with similar objecgtives ( cy pres doctrine) )
thanks contributors
