11.42 Unbelievable. But Typical Tory thinking, WAP.
All them weeks of lockdown, for nothing. Boris 's answer, I hope employers will be understanding, ha ha, are you real Blobby, Employers to Blobby, yeah yeah, blobby don't worry, we've had no customers coming through the door for months now, but I'm sure we can scrap the barrel and pay this idiot to sit on his/her backside for another two weeks, you just carry on importing thousands more infections by plane, that's how it got here the last time. :0)

That was in early April when only essential travel was permitted, and the local economy was closed down.
Now travel is allowed businesses are open. The UK economy needs saving, spending your money in Spain is not going to do that.
And the minister of transport Grant Shapps is holidaying in Spain, when Mr Blobby was preaching to the rest of us to have a staycation this year, to help the economy.
^^ already pointed out at 11:42
Thanks, didn't see, but it don't hurt to rub it in a little more. :0)
Considering that Covid19 has broken out again in two areas of Spain what else could the Government do other than what has been done?
Its not broken out there, its always been there the same has here, but you don't allow more infections to come in by plane when we are trying to snuff it out in the UK. Holidays abroad should not have been allowed this year , full stop really.
By the way I certainly don’t blame people for wanting to go abroad. It’s just a risk, that’s all.
As likely as those going to the beach in the midst of a pandemic. And who is going to check? These people either booked during the pandemic to save money or booked before the pandemic and didn’t want to lose their holiday or their money. Surely they knew the risks. Hope Boris doesn’t backtrack but wouldn’t be surprised.
I'd rather lose a holiday and the money than risk losing my life, the chances are that many will be infected on the way back home on the plane, I don't care a toss what they say about a plane having the best filters for air circulation, they will say anything just to keep flying. Has for people taking their kids away to Spain, they must be mad to put them at risk just for a week/ 2 weeks in the sun, sitting on the beach with a face mask on, crazy!!!
Why is it deemed safe to sit crammed on a plane in narrow seats for three hours, but it's not safe to sit in an air-conditioned theatre?
And this is the PM , Who failed to put the Uk into lockdown on time, through his usual bumbling, then gave the UK a " Months " notice to wear face masks.
But he manages to put return travellers from Spain into Quarantine in just . 12 hours.
You are allowed to fly on a plane with 500 people, but if you die, only 50 people can attend your funeral.
Mind you Mr Blobby is busy trying to build a case / excuse for the amount of deaths in the UK, in other words blame all the deaths on people that my be a little over weight. How longs it been since he asked us all to eat out and help out, you can now buy your junk food with a discount. :0)
The lockdown was enacted when it was on the advice of the scientists. What you’re doing, Gulliver, is blaming the Govt for following the advice of the experts - surely see how ridiculous your assertion is, don’t you?

They really can’t win in some people’s eyes. They follow the advice of the experts, but the armchair experts of AB know better than the actual experts - but if they chose to ignore the experts, you would without doubt blame them.

Chris Whitty (who obviously isn’t as expert as you) said last week that we didn’t lockdown too late.
Haha, BA there DD :-)
// Prof Neil Ferguson, an epidemiologist and former government adviser, told a committee of MPs on 10 June the number of coronavirus deaths could have been halved if lockdown had been introduced only a week earlier. //
Didn’t Ferguson also predict a huge death rate which never thankfully came close to be materialising.
I think personally he has a lot to answer for
