FF, for a vaccine reputable ones include the disappointing. The main thing with the vaccine would be confidence in it being overall useful and usable and that is something unlikely to be ignored by health services in western Europe. A mediocre nurse can (and probably will) successfully administer a vaccine.
I am wary of grabbing the 1st vaccine on offer. I've had 'flu vacs. since I was in my 40s because of my history and some don't work. Only a couple, but they are also the ones which made me poorly for a few days. I'd want to be convinced that any Covid vaccination worked. Was ill with H2N2 10 years ago and that was very nasty, but it may have given some protection.
jourdain, the flu virus mutates a lot, which is why some flu jabs don't work: they've become out of date despite everyone's best efforts. We don't know whether Covid does or not.
