How long do they intend to abide by the terms?
Good news that will no doubt come as a great disappointment to some.
I think that part of the deal includes us buying, at reduced cost, the very good Japanese whisky.
According to the UK.Gov website, the deal boosts trade between UK and Japan by £15 billion. Which boosts UK economy by £1.5B, increasing UK worker's wages by £800 in the long run. Anybody understand all that?
Oh, and nothing is signed, sealed and delivered just yet. The deal has been agreed "in principle."
An increase in trade with Japan by an estimated £15.2 billion too...that will spoil a few people's cornflakes.

and other will realise that it is irrelevant to the real problem at hand - but ho hum thats AB for you
^Yep. There's one who's spluttered on his cornflakes.
The UK already had a trade agreement with Japan through the EU. This "new" agreement merely compensates for the loss of the existing one.
