We have no relatives nearby, you can't get a delivery for love nor money at the moment for a couple of weeks so what are the options? Seems like one of us would have to risk it and nip to the supermarket and hope for the best or starve.

There is always someone willing to help. Contact your local church, council. I believe the co op is using deliveroo. I saw a load of deliveroo drivers outside my local Aldi, but cannot confirm if Aldi are using them. Check out your local websites like Next Door for your area.

we have a number of voluntary groups here to help people in isolation , google help people in isolation in your area

Yes as mally says should be locals and/or voluntary groups happy to help out. In the first lockdown our village came through and nobody went without or was left feeling neglected. But if you are in a bigger town and want assistance you will need to ask for it.

the council started sending ladies round to look in the bins and if you put the wrong thing in a bin you got a red sticker ,haven't seen them for ages though so hopefully that's finished

also if your okay now a suggest you find a neighbour or two and swop phone number's and agree too do stopping for each other if anyone get's corona. We have done this with are neighbours

My local food bank has been delivering food parcels to people who are isolating. Only down side is that you dont get to choose what food you get.

I wondered that too Dave, but haven't checked the situation. Fortunately I do have relatives nearby, and the phone numbers of some neighbours. Some may not be do fortunate.

Of course, you could always sneak out and gift the public the chance to develop immunity.

In England the government website says you can go out for an essential shop if you really must as a last resort. If this isolation is pre-known (such a returning from abroad) then you plan ahead.

I'm sure there will be folk or organizations prepared to help others like you in your locality to get messages.
