a quarter of UK is under some sort of lockdown restrictions.
Do you think that a national lockdown is likely?
I don't think it is but perhaps rolling lockdowns area by area are likely for a long time.
So tired of covid!

The goal isn’t to stop or eliminate the virus.
That isn’t actually possible.
Plainly local “lockdowns“ work if people abide by them.
I’m perfectly happy personally with simply slowing it providing that is all they try to do.
God mushroom, I'm glad you're not the PM!!!
I must admit I know of a lot of people who are not following the rules of lock down, myself included. I'm in a bubble with one daughter, but I miss my other daughter and young grandchildren so much, I did go to see them yesterday, although there was no hugging or kissing. If anyone is in danger it will be me and I am prepared to take that risk so I can see my family. The only other place I go is to the supermarket, so I am keeping myself as safe as I can, but I cannot imagine not seeing my other daughter for weeks or months on end.

Quite so, Barsel. And that should be your decision and nobody else's. But that right has been taken away from you because this government believes she should not be permitted to think for yourself.
That's right Nj.
