The worst by far I've ever seen on here by far was when Margaret Thatcher died.

mozz; "We still have gutless Tories Tora, that's never changed. " - and loony lefties and dogmatic unions
The loony left and the ridiculous right. British politics in a nutshell.
Don't forget the soppy centre :)
Most people (fortunately) were brought up not to mock the sick or cheer the death of someone but to keep their counsel.
No I would not. Nor would I smile if Mr West got caught in his own fly zipper. Oh, I don’t know though....

You.... Animal.
Language Timothy.
@16.19.No it wasnt the National Front that enabled Thatcher into power,it was our very own SNP.They dont like being reminded of that fact. The Tartan Tories.
These threads are like Whac-a-mole, and here's the hammer from 2016's election campaign ...

Trump is a very nasty piece of work himself, but he wouldn't be acting as he is in that video if he didn't think it would appeal to his fanbase.

In other words, nastiness is not confined to a political faction.
No it isn't,there's a huge difference between politic and polite.

I have been to funerals where folk have raised a glass (paid for by the deceased) whilst muttering 'Good riddance to bad rubbish'.

Some people are simply nasty.
The Thatcher Trump comparison is very apt.
Both were very divisive and polarising in their respective countries.
If your were a miner or blue collar worker then their policies were probably bad for you. If you were rich lived in an affluent area, and could afford private healthcare, then you were looked after by the system.
Thatcher was not beaten by Labour, she was ditched by her own party who were embarrassed by her.
Trumps King Canute attitude to the virus has dismayed many a Republican, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they turn on him.
No, it's a terrible comparison. Thatcher was a proper conviction politician. Could you imagine Thatcher mocking an opponent's pneumonia? No way, she was far more classy than that - and far more classy than the people who celebrated her death.

Trump, however, is nasty.
I hadn't realised that trump mocked Hilary when she was ill

Nasty fella
It's suggested that karma had a small hand in all this.
