Trolling is a nasty occupation, but I rather think that M.M. is rather oversensitive as she seems to me to be hurt by anyone criticising anything about her. I'm sure others have suffered worse ... Mary Beard and a few others have really suffered nasties. If M.M. really wants to live quietly without hassle, then she needs to ...... live quietly.

If you shove yourself to the front of things then you are going to get the nasties that go with it. I don't approve of that, but it is a fact.

You don't have to shove yourself in front of things to get trolled. Most celebs get trolled.

I'm totally against trolling, it's unkind and unpleasant at least but in order to be trolled, surely you have to put yourself in the line of fire through social media. If you don't like the heat, get out of the kitchen!
