Nothing like a good old purge to sort things out. But, in all seriousness, if this leads to the utter rejection of Corbynism within the Labour Party, and -- far more importantly -- the end of the ugly monster of Anti-Semitism -- then it will be well worth the angst. As an aside, I've kept this quiet for some time, but in fact I've known personally for a long time that...

jim I don't think anyone was fooled by Cob's pretend purge when he was the gaffer.
Now it's time for a proper purge, then.
blimey
labour more antisemitic than the tory party
takes some doing - what?
given Mr Corbyn's statement today; if labour had won last year's general election, would Caroline Waters now be on her way to a re-education gulag?
No mushroom, probably would be on a Novichok diet by now.
no she would be decorating a lamp at no 10
ar attending a wash basin in the House !
PP //no she would be decorating a lamp at no 10//
What makes you think that? She is not a member of the Tory Party.
That's the second time within days that Peter Pedant has posted a disgusting, baseless, point-scoring 'comment' by referring to the horrific treatment of Jews in the Nazi death camps.
Isn't it about time he was prevented from doing so? I find him offensive at the best of times but this is truly nauseating.
Maisie , it would appear to ba tasteless comment, but there is no specific reference to the death camps.
Maisie, if you find the post offensive you always have recourse to reporting it.
Are you suggesting that we can all post obscene references as long as we omit a few key words, dannyk13? And do we have to pretend they're funny?
Maisie, no,I am not saying that at all. If you consider that it is offensive then you should report it.
I don't police the site, and I don't wish to. If it's OK with you and the rest of the moderators and the editors, then fine. I only get caught out by the one-liners because I never read the lengthy gibberish, but I can imagine someone stumbling across similar remarks and being sufficiently upset to take the site to task in other ways.
And, by the way, I found your glibly innocent response to the post offensive too. Or was that a smokescreen?
Maisie, reporting something that you find offensive is not policinghe site. That is why the report button is there, to notify the editorial team of what you consider to be offensive etc.
Misie //And, by the way, I found your glibly innocent response//I wa snot being glib, I honestly did not see the Nazi camp implication.
I'm pleased for the Labour party & British politics in general, Corbyn & his cohort have been a millstone around the neck of the party for too long - good riddance. Time for Starmer to start anew & have his own Night of the long Knives, & get rid of a few more Communists posing as Labour within the party.
Some people would rather have a public strop than do anything about it.
Pretty plainly,

Anyway, good news about Corbyn.
