And a description of their loony tunes:
QAnon could be described as one of the most far-fetched conspiracy theories in modern history. It argues that a group of Satanic paedophiles, mostly made up of Democrats and Democrat-supporting celebrities, is running a global child-trafficking ring – and that Trump is using the power of the US government to fight them.
Lummy. And I thought Answerbank was bad.

It is utterly potty. But a majority of Republicans in the USA believe it. That's the level of mad you have to be in order to back Trump.

ynaf - // @16.08.Excellent posting,Andy.I couldnt put it better myself. If Allen isnt a Corbynista as he/she proffers to be,he/she will make it best answer. //
Thank you for your kind words.
I would not wish to receive a BA in order for Allen to confirm absence of support for Mr Corbyn - I believe one does not actually indicate the other - but Allen is respected as his own man, and if he chooses a BA, I am confident it will be because he beleives it so, not to underline his personal political affiliations.

allen - // No, mamya (the thread was about QAnon - it isn't now) - it’s about shhh, you know who, as usual.
A neat trick if your pony can do it. //
As has been pointed out elsewhere on the site, threads are conversations, and they do meander away from the original point, but that does not mean it is always a bad thing when they do.
I think threads go the way they go because the people on them move them that way - and that can never be attributed to one person, no matter how much you may like to think so.

Qanon is Trumpism in a nutshell: choose the reality you want to live in, and make it a spiteful, hateful, evil, borderline-totalitarian one that thrives on paranoia and worship of the leader. Corbynism is a discredited dead end which is being driven out of Labour because of its failure to confront ant-semitism on the left. They aren't equivalent groups at all.
Untitled. Yes and no.
Yes to your analysis of QAnon.
No to yours on Corbyn. He was a poor leader, far too soft on fighting the vicious conspiracy from all sides which falsely painted him and the labour movement antisemitic.
We were there at Cable Street fighting for the British Jews! Where was the right wing then? On the other side, that’s where!

I believe you are giving Corbyn too much leeway - it;s this sort of thinking that stokes his burning martyr persona which he as adopted since the election, and his supporters love to encourage as the reason why things are the way they are.
Corbyn was, and is, no-one's shrinking violet, he knew what was happening, and he took steps to prevent it from stopping, and he stood aside when people were mistreated, and that is unforgiveable.

The Battle Of Cable Street was in 1936, and Corbyn's problem is, he honestly believes we are still there in terms of political attitudes, and voters' loyalties.
The absence of reality he lives in is a huge reason why he was unelectable when he was chosen as leader, and delightedly became more and more so as time went on.

chosen - isnt that elected
only if we use the word - it um weakens an already weak argument
and as for the posts shape the threads - it must be obvious that the pattern of deletions also plays a part in shaping
take a table - if some one knocks off a leg ( that is the counterpart of deletes it) then to say it is the same shape as the er unimproved version is - - -
well onlhy something you wd read on AB

No-one is interested in this rambling about 'shaping of threads' - it exists only in your imagination.
Why not give it up and try and talk about what everyone else is discussing?

allen - // Didn’t know you were such an ardent socialist, comrade. Good to know.

I'm not sure where from my posts that you have derived the impression that I am a socialist - ardent or otherwise!
Is it because I know about the Battle Of Cable Street? That's just because I have an interest in history.
I know what a pyramid is - it doesn't make me a pharaoh!

My point, miss it if you choose, is that we (The Left) have a long and proud tradition of supporting and physically fighting for persecuted people, and the Lie that Antisemitism is rife in the Labour Party is just that, a Big Lie.
Corbyn should have defended himself more strongly. Maybe he was poorly advised, I don’t know. But the forces of reaction, of those against socialism, combined forces to oust Corbyn and reinstate Blairism (Thatcher in trousers).
Ah well, all’s past amend. The pendulum will swing ‘our’ way. Just wait and watch.

Allen, //We were there at Cable Street fighting for the British Jews! //
Oh right. Despite you being nowhere near Cable Street at that time you and your cronies won the battle! Never mind the people of the East End and further afield who turned out on that terrible day - or the British Jews who didn’t sit back and let others fight their battles as you seem to suggest. I've heard the history of the Battle of Cable Street from a Jew who was there, and fought, Allen, but I wouldn't want to put you off your revelry.
//Where was the right wing then? On the other side, that’s where!//
The ‘other side’ were not ‘right wing’ - they were despicable Nazis through and through. You really should stop insulting people, Allen. It makes you look really silly.
Oh, and incidentally, on the subject of your denial of Corbyn and the Labour Party’s anti-Semitism, you’re kidding yourself again. Wasn’t it one of that bunch who suggested the Jews be ousted from Israel and relocated to a bit of odd land in the US? So much for comprehension. Ignorance reigns supreme.

battle of cable street ( based on the battle of sidney street) both my parents were in London at the time and it was played as Fascists against communists
you cant very well sensibly play it as a prequel to the second world war and holocaust as they hadnt happened.
one was unthinkable ( holocaust ) and the other was
unhoped for / unwanted / dreaded
