Mps Pay Freeze
Boris says MPs are not to get their £3.000 pay rise next spring. How on earth will they manage. Will they be able to claim extra expenses to compensate. ?.

I honestly believe that Boris would have taken on the job of PM if he had to pay them to do it! He has worked all his life towards this!

No it isn’t. But they cannot take a big wage rise when they are telling millions of public sector workers they they get no wage rise.
The PM took a huge pay cut (especially from his column in the Daily Telegraph). He knew this when he took the job. When he becomes an ex-PM,he can cash in in a big way.

I agree with emmie, MPs are underpaid. Yes, they knew the salary before they took the job on but so did nurses and everyone else.
I know a lorry driver and a head teacher of a junior school who earn more than an MPs basic salary. I'm not saying they don't deserve their pay but it does put it in to perspective.
