he's getting on in years, but i love going there.

Hairdressers are being allowed to open in all tiers. Boris announced that lockdown will end at 12.01 am on the 2nd December.
I was lucky, as soon as lockdown came in my hairdresser texted me with the choice of appointments, so I am in 0n 3rd at 9.30. Can't wait.

Until the end of next Wednesday, Corby. You're getting confused (and it's perfectly understandable) by Boris saying "As from Wednesday.." as we discussed in an earlier thread. Unless otherwise provided for in the new legislation, the current regime ends at the end of next Wednesday (2nd) and the new arrangements begin on Thursday 3rd. If we're not worried about the odd two minutes we can say that the current rules end at 23:59 on Wednesday 2nd and the new legislation takes effect from 00:01 on Thursday 3rd.
