As much as I don't think anyone could of done any better or any worse than Boris Johnson in such exceptional circumstances, how can a date like Feb 3rd be just plucked out of the air ?

The Labour Party are set to abstain in today's vote and some Tory MPs will vote against it although it seems Boris will win
Yes the only votes against will be Tory rebels. Labour and probly Lim Dems will abstain. DUP will probly vote against but why a they allowed to vote a sit affects England only. ?Not sure about SNP - abstain ? but should they be allowed to vote ?
The date Borris gave is just something to pacify some rebel Torys- far enough away to get past any New year lockdown but near enough to show the rebel's theres an end in sight. Just politics rather than science
"Not sure about SNP - abstain ? but should they be allowed to vote ?"

They're elected members of the UK parliament so, yes.

Anyway, this time next year Rodney, we'll be virus free.
Yes but no but. There voting about something that affects England only. Wales and England dont have a say on what are parliments vote on. Its confusing for me
See, am confused again. Meant to say "Wales and England dont have a say on what Scottish parliment votes on"
Hi Bob, if it affects only England, then EVEL should come into play, which would mean only mps from English constituencies would be allowed to vote

It'll go through because if it doesn't there'll be no restrictions at all.
“ Wales and England dont have a say on what Scottish parliment votes on"

The SNP plan to abstain I believe.
Of course the Westminster Parliament is not an English one
