I don’t blame the Dutch for doing this. It’s probably only postponing the inevitable tho.
It’s also unrelated to the prospect of vaccination certificates, which might become a thing in future, but which as previously discussed would only have limited ability to stop it spreading. This is a measure designed to do just that. The only way to stop it is to stop people travelling or mixing. Ultimately doomed to fail but understandable for now

I’m not sure it’s completely unrelated. I can see airlines negotiating with governments to keep their businesses going and the only way to do that is some form of certificate.

Earlier today, we reported that Belgium and the Netherlands have introduced a temporary halt on travel to and from Britain, and Germany is considering the same.

Meanwhile, outside the continent, Israel has announced that anyone travelling from the UK, South Africa and Denmark must quarantine for two-weeks in a designated hotel facility.

they are not. Check out the ones with female leaders, they're doing substantially better than others.

They've done nothing Britain couldn't have done. But even after lockdown was imposed, 20 million people entered the country without any checks - to the bewilderment of many ABers.

Britain is still 11th in the world for deaths per million. And Britons still pretend it's just as bad everywhere else!

I was interested to see that the UK ambassador to Turkmenistan had been laid low with the virus.
Most unfortunate in a country previously “virus free” and not even led by a woman to help!

It’s arguably worse than 11th in the world suggests, as several of the countries above have small or even tiny populations, which skews a stat like deaths per million.
Similarly many of the countries have huge populations and allegedly not our brilliant health care
