Boris is carrying the can for every mistake made by previous Governments and Prime Ministers for the last 50 years. They all led us into reliance on people who think nothing, of us and a position whereby we cannot determine our own destiny without punishment and peevish retribution from unelected egoists. The pandemic has brought it all into sharp focus....

Call me a cynic but it is my strong belief that this new Covid mutant is being used by the French (and the rest of the EU) to try to make life as difficult as possible for the UK in the run-up to the New Year as a No Deal is now more likely than ever. My response is: 'Up yours, Macron!)
i feel that some on ab simply don't like the tories anyway, no matter who is in charge.. he has been landed with this virus which no one could have predicted.
Is anyone blaming Johnson for the new strain?
I don’t think so.
I think the criticism comes from a feeling that he’s always reacting to things and trying to please everyone. Not learning from previous errors and hiding behind a monstrously incompetent cabinet, not one of whom has resigned while civil servants and advisers have come and, more often, gone:
The fact that the virus is not his fault shouldn’t be an excuse for turning a blind eye to the things which probably are
We would of preferred Kier but as time go's on am getting less sure, he just seems to wait and see what Boris thinks then says he dosn't diasagree so gets Labour to abstain but uses hindsight and says he should of done it earlier. Mark Drakeford has the right ideas but needs more carisma to be a bigger leader, Am not sure which Tory would of done a better job either as its an awful situation. Maybe Nicola would be our best UK leader!!
Anyone in charge would struggle with this pandemic and all people can do is criticise. Mr Starmer can criticise all he likes but I am sure he would not like to be in charge at the moment and no matter what Boris does it is never right. A scientist was saying just after he brought Tier 4 in that he had acted very quickly and that this mutation had only recently come to light. As for France, well they would do anything to mess up our deliveries, Macron is not a friend of ours. All countries are in the same position as us and it now appears that France may well have this mutation already.
someone wanted Rory Stewart but who was he, no idea, the party chose Boris, the country has to make the best of it, because unless there is a major vote of no confidence we are stuck with him. Whatever his choices its going to please no one.
//Maybe Nicola would be our best UK leader!! //

Heaven forbid!!!
Hope you've got your tin hat on, bob :-))))
//Nicola would be our best UK leader!!\\

Now I know you're taking the pees.
you can get stuffed on Nicola being a better leader, according to Minty she is struggling up in her homeland
you wouldn;t have got kier, you would have got Corbyn heaven forfend
France is being spiteful and they have been all along,
She seems more decisive on the pandemic and would of been more formidable with EU negotiators if given the brief to get us out ( a know shes a remainer but a suspect Borris is to but just saw Brexit as his way to power). The Scots we know think shes wonderfull and looks after Scotland. We have our own Wales goverment so it dont affect us. The English dont like her but maybe with corona and brexit shed win them over?
someone suggested that Churchill got us through bad years which he did, but that didn;t mean he stayed in power once those were over as he was promptly kicked out of office by a fickle public.
she wants to sell those who don;t want to be Independent down the swanney, align herself with the EU and you think she would be a better leader, christ almighty
Totally agree with Jackdaw at 9:33. That is the first thing I thought when I heard the news this morning.
Nicola for leader of UK.
Heaven forbid. I cannot think of anything much to say that is polite about that view.
//As the rest of Europe close their borders to us//
Is this a devious plan to make us submit to the demands of the EU in the Brexit negotiations?
//would of been more formidable with EU negotiators if given the brief to get us out //

Hahaha! Yes, about as 'formidable' as remainer Theresa May was!! Another who did everything in her power to keep us in!
Danny i think it is, they are as i said spiteful and think they can call the shots on our leaving
