So are over 80s going to get the second injection when originally promised, i.e. my sister’s next week? She hasn’t heard anything to the contrary. If this has been.changed to 12 weeks I thought we might have heard by now...

He has contributed to medical knowledge because he developed an all-body, itchy rash after the first. There was a lot of consultation, even bringing in the pharmacist, and then they photographed bits of him before deciding to give him the 2nd one anyway. He seems fine so far and I am standing by with the hydrocortisone.

I can't find the link on the BBC website now but it was reported a few days ago that, although the Government has changed the interval between the two vaccinations from three weeks to twelve weeks, many GPs are refusing to cancel existing appointments for second jabs, citing a potential 'loss of trust' in the system if they were to do so.
