//Sadly my friend, this IS the news//
No it isn’t. As I’ve said more than once on here, for the last nine months the BBC news has been simply a government propaganda programme designed to scare the population witless. Night after night there are scenes of intensive care units manipulating patients connected to machinery. Tonight there was even a scene inside a mortuary. This is not news. News is how many people have contracted the disease, how many have died, how many vaccinations have been administered and (which you never hear) how many people have recovered.
ICUs have no right to allow film crews into their premises. Hospitals are about the worst places for contracting the virus and to have film crews roaming around from place to place is simply madness and is irresponsible.
//do you think it wrong to report that NHS workers are suffering from overload//
Day after day, most certainly yes. Make a documentary about it if you want, but it’s not news. It’s obvious that health workers are under the cosh; we don’t need to be constantly told. It is now becoming counter- productive. I simply record the news now and fast forward all this guff. I doubt I’m alone.
