I think Meghan needs to be number one and that was part of her problem when she married Harry and found herself in a situation where she could never be number one. She just doesn’t seem able to help herself. They appear to have set up a rival royal court in La La Land, dismissing from their lives anyone who falls out of favour with them - her ‘best friend’ is among the recently ditched - and inventing their own awards to be handed out, no doubt with a great show of beneficence, to those deemed ‘worthy’ … but knighthoods they’re not! With the manufactured photo opportunities that arise with increasing regularity nothing they do is done with grace or dignity. I think they’re making absolute fools of themselves - and I think it will rebound on them.

I greatly admire the work the royal family have done during this pandemic, particularly William and Kate, and I am very sad indeed for the Queen and her family. What a rotten time they're having.
