....one of very few on here who doesn't express negativity towards H&M. I feel bad for them and having had first hand experience of feeling suicidal on a few occasions in the past and in fact quite recently, I can understand how she may have felt.
I love the royal family and feel sad for everyone concerned. I blame the scum media/tabloids. They have been trashing the royals for many many years.
I'm probably opening myself up for abusive comments as it seem many are anti-H&M on here but just wanted to express my thoughts on the matter.

Can’t understand why so many people are venting their spleens against them when they don’t know them from a hole in the road. If you think they’re gushy, don’t watch. If you’re sick of seeing them in the media, don’t read about them. Some people are really showing themselves up to be mean spirited, nasty and lacking a shred of empathy.
I can't understand why so many people believe them when they don't know them from a hole in the road. I didn't watch the programme but all last week, and especially during the weekend, the adverts were full of various parts of the interview. I have the radio on in a morning for music not news, and every hour on the hour yesterday there were different people commenting on different parts of it. Today has been much of the same. You can't say don't watch or don't read when it's being rammed down your throat all day long.
I posted this last night on a thread last night.

I agree Tiggs. The media in this country in particular, is notoriously vicious and nasty. They seem to either love or hate, and when they hate it's a terrible thing to read.
My SIL in NY asked me what people thought here. She was shocked when I told her that H and M are hated.
I've chosen not to watch the interview...my opinion is neutral. I know they've made mistakes, but I feel that the abuse directed at them is unwarranted.

I'm not a Royalist (quite the opposite) but I agree with the OP as regards the treatment meted out by the Mucky Media in the UK to this rather sad couple. The Gentlemen of the Press (!) virtually killed the mother, now they are equally merciless with the youngest son - it's absolutely despicable, but as is apparent from the masses of hate-posts in Ab, it suits a large section of the British Public, so it sells newspapers/TV progs.
You've hit the nail on the head, Pasta. We ALL make mistakes. There isn't a single person on this planet, past and present who hasn't. But they get hounded and vilified for falling out with family members and other incidents which millions of us around the world do as well. Although when they do it, sadly it turns into a media circus.
