My remark was tongue in cheek, Sqad. There's nothing I'd like to see more than my friends (and everybody else) in the EU receive their shots pronto. They do not deserve to suffer the unmitigated shambles that the Euromaniacs have managed to make of their vaccine programme. I just hope it makes them think long and hard about the wisdom of their nations' membership. This issue matters and the EU is not designed to deal with issues that matter.

2 I'm surprised that a so-called judge would resort to such language; shouldn't you be making wise pronouncements based on evidence, rather than using provocative terms?

I’ve been referring to the collective cabal of assorted EU politicians and sundry Civil Servants as such for at least two or three years. I find it most appropriate. The unbridled enthusiasm they demonstrate for their wretched institution, its workings and everything connected with it seems to overcome any common sense they may have and I can only assume they are suffering from some sort of mental illness akin to a mania. Nothing demonstrates this more perfectly than the dog’s breakfast they have made of their vaccination rollout. Their political dogma has unnecessarily placed the lives of the citizens who have the misfortune to live in an EU member nation in increased peril. That’s a mania.
