Something gleaned from my Police site:
Reinforcement rioters were stopped on the motorway and prevented from reaching Bristol.
There is no way that this wasn't planned. Just a question of who planned it.
And did they plan all the other trouble in Europe too?

Just think ... The police "service" spent decades getting rid of the "big lads" who didn't paint their nails and couldn't "show empathy" with the feckless and reckless. Now plod consists of a body that is diverse on the application form and unable to protect itself, never mind us. As my respect for the organisation was eroded by years of pc blocks and woke showboating, so was my sympathy for their obvious shame and embarrassment. They are now going to reap the results of their idiocy and political naivety. Serves em right.
