Scottish politics must be at an al time low. It’s just personal grudges being formed into policies and parties. What a shambles.

It will sink without trace election wise, like UKIP.

I don't pretend to understand the ins and outs of Scottish politics but wouldn't this take votes away from the wee 'un thereby getting his revenge?
Am I missing something here?

The SNP's sole reason for being is to bring about an independent Scotland, and Salmond's new party's reason for being is to bring about an independent Scotland.

Is this just a fit of pique by Salmond?

Mrs Murrell is deeply irritating, and she's managed to swerve her wrongdoing, but I genuinely don't get why there'd need to be two parties who ultimately want the same thing.

Merely as a by the way, I'd trust Mr Murrell as far as I could spit a dead rat, yet he seems quite popular.

DD: "The SNP's sole reason for being is to bring about an independent Scotland" - you'd think so bit that appears to be the last thing they want. As far as I can tell, their pathological hatred of England drives them to find some other country to dominate them, as long as it's not England.
"their pathological hatred of England"

Simply doesn't exist. Hatred of Westminster is not hatred of England.
More repeats than Dave +1
The thought of Salmond and Sturgeon having to form a coalition is an intriguing one.
I doubt even Salmond would be deluded enough to actually stand himself.

^^^^ methinks they doth protest too much!
they "doth"?
This time around 16 year olds can vote in Wales and Scotland. Interesting to see what, if any, effect this has on the result.

...yes, from Hamlet me old china! look it up I think it's available in moron.
That's a good point, JD. Every poll shows massive pro-independence support among the 16-24 age range; over 80% in some polls.
Not so much grammar police as grammar Bow Street Runners there, Jim. :-)
Ah, TTT. You always turn to insults when you know you're wrong, don't you. The lady *doth* protest too much, methinks. Doth, Elizabethan English for "does". They doth doesn't even make grammatical sense.
He/she/it doth, Tora, they do.
TORATORATORA is the Trump of AB with his "alternative facts"...
