Man tries to earn a living and gets threatened with violence.

Presumably the threats were from Covid worshippers - there's a few on this site (I won't name names as they know who they are, and they wear it as a badge), but how did we get to the point that trying to earn a living can get somebody threatened with violence?

People love to get vexed via their keyboards, and the most vexed you can get is to threaten violence or death to a stranger.

We should learn to accept this for what it is - the empty posturing of inadequate numpties, and simply refuse to give it mind room.
Not surprising.

Don't be too surprised if similar threats are made if and when bars are allowed to reopen. Because you can't be too careful.
People will make pointless meaningless threats about anything and everything - it's the price we pay for being a cyber culture, any twerp with a connection can let his mindless imagination flow into his keyboard and out into the world who should, I stress, treat it with all the creedence, impact, attention and interest it deserves - none at all
does anyone else find the mail site completely awful to navigate?
You can criticise their site when you come back with well toned abs to flaunt. :-)
i am already flaunting them sitting here dontchaknow
Some idiot on a networking site does not a crisis make.
Its a keyboard thing.
In the good old days of writing a letter, it would never have happened.
Man closes bar after promising to keep it open.
Good story.
nice of the Mail to print a photo demonstrating that people aren't keeping two metres apart outside his bar at all.
Have you had your jab yet DD? If so, why. Are you a Covid worshipper? If you haven't by the way, that's great. I'm absolutely against it being compulsory.
Surely if people refuse the jab they are endangering others?
They're not endangering people that have chosen to have it. Only themselves and other brave free thinkers like them, which is ok, because we all know the risks by now and have made our choices.
I disagree. The virus can infect the unvaccinated, and go on to infect others maybe vulnerable.
Better to stamp it out with the jab.
Nothing to be afraid of.
Brave free thinkers! Honestly...:-) Best laugh tonight. You sound like my sister, Tomus and she has been nuts all her life.
I've know'n a few nutters to, gness.
What are you proposing, compulsory vaccination?
//Brave free thinkers! Honestly...:-) Best laugh tonight. You sound like my sister, Tomus and she has been nuts all her life.//

Irony Gness. Irony.
I have never mentioned compulsory vaccination. Do what you like.
But calling yourself a brave free thinker is nothing short of laughable....and maybe just a little pathetic.

Hi, Tony...x
