Charlie Stayt is paid less than Naga Munchety - so should he receive a pay rise or should Naga get a pay cut?
And as for the utter nonsense they shouldn’t be paid more than £40k from Hymie, I can only assume she or he was talking *** just to get a reaction. And it worked.

Deskdiary // I’m at Director level APH and earn more that £40k a year. I won’t be so crass to say how much I earn, but will go as far to say I was on £40k in the 90s.//

For some time now it has been possible to produce a real-time image of a person, with that image totally controlled by software.
It would be very simple for a news program to use such a technique in their news broadcasts – saving well over £1 million/year based on the BBC pay-scales.
While there would be a default setting for the news-reader image (and voice) – it would be possible for viewers to select their news-reader/voice. If you wanted, Holly from Red Dwarf (or anyone else for that matter) could be reading your news on TV.
This has me wondering if any TV station around the world has already tried this?
