One could be forgiven for thinking anything - but that's not the same as assuming that everyone else thinks it as well.

Anyone with common sense can see that 'Kill The Bill' means get rid of the anti-protest bill. Kill The Bill is a catchy slogan; it rhymes & it is 3 words long (Get Brexit Done, Hands, Face, Space, etc). The fact that protestors have clashed with police does not distinguish it from many other protests, such as the 4 or 5 anti Poll Tax protests i attended, none of which were intended to cause conflict with those policing the marches.
