//Patrisse Cullors, a 37-year-old “artist, organizer and freedom fighter”, has purchased a three-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Topanga Canyon, with a separate guesthouse and expansive backyard//
As "freedom fighters" go, she's not exactly Che Guevara is she?
I honestly don't believe any form of Communism although perhaps it may sometimes seem attractive at first,in the long term actually works in a free country.Although air would not see our NHS to be "socialist medicine" as many Americans claim
NHS is merely compulsory health insurance that is extended to those citizens who can't afford to pay also. As such it's compulsory insurance for the population as a whole rather than for each individual separately.
Marxism as an ideology sounds very compelling, but it is incapable of succeeding; there is no example in this world you can hold up to the light & say, 'This is Marxism'.
Romantic and lovely the idea may seem, a society where each is provided for, no money is necessary, our wealth is our joint endeavor to make a safe, clean and bountiful existence for ourselves. Where we each employ our skills to the good of the whole. Portrayed many times in Sci Fi. Sadly no form of communism/socialism can work, it is flawed from the outset, stifled mainly by human nature.
