The Party and PM's figures look good. Mid term you'd normally expect the opposition to be ahead, so what are Labour doing wrong?

I see that Max Headroom was in a wallpaper shop yesterday ... was he looking for a roll? Because he sure as hell hasn't got a role in politics. Charisma bypass to go with the excitement removal procedure. Anyone remember when Jeffrey Epstein "donated" thousands of dollars to decorate Bill Clinton's office in the White House? Not a peep from the marxists over...

they have a so far ineffectual leader, who's mantra appears to be sleaze and more sleaze. That just won't do in this cut throat business.
he should be more involved in saying what his party would do if in power, which of course may not happen till 2024.
He can't say what they would do, as they can't decide.
how long have you got?
its not trivial to some, if Boris can't explain where he got the money from to redecorate his apartment, then perhaps that matter should be pressed home by KS. after all the fact remains Boris has dodged a bullet so far, but that's not going to last forever.

emmie, it's trivial many in the opposition would rather focus on this sort of thing than making their party electable.
One of my pet hates “ a source said’ ,someone told me, I heard, yada yada yada
Either put up or shut up is my motto, don’t threaten because that makes you the coward
I suspect the majority of the population couldn't give a stuff about a flat redecoration.
i do agree TTT, but some don't see it that way.
Labour have abandoned the traditional working class they were created to represent. They are more interested in minority pressure groups and virtue signalling, until they face this they will never get anywhere.
thing is the working class are all of us.....
i don't think of myself as well to do, posh, or what not. but consider that most people work, so what does that make me. I am retired now but worked for years.
Mud-slinging equates to ineffectual opposition. People can only do their best and if that's their best they aren't doing anything 'wrong'. They're just innately impotent.
Dave that started with Teflon Tony , I was very much Labour , it was the done thing in a mining community , I hated Thatcher with a passion and how she decimated our communities, then I wake from being hoodwinked by the unions etc, I then saw Mrs T as a very strong leader that wouldn’t be shoved around by the bully’s in Europe and changed my allegiance,I even had hopes for DC but soon learnt what a slippery eel he was and voted for the Lib-Dems, now we have a leader in Boris, yes he’s made big mistakes but who else has ever faced what he has, he’s had C-19himself and been in intensive care,SK has hit an all time low ,Maybe not Boris at the Helm but because of the Jew hater Corbyn, the Tories will be around for a very long time to come !
What appears to be a worse own-goal for Labour is that looking around this morning's news sources, the decorating story has been dropped as yesterday's news, no-one, not even the BBC is bothering about it.
Bobbi. //I was very much Labour , it was the done thing in a mining community , I hated Thatcher with a passion and how she decimated our communities//

It was the done thing in all working communities everywhere. Just one thing though - Labour closed far more pits than Mrs Thatcher ever did - something that’s often unknown - or conveniently overlooked.
Yes Naomi, that’s when I woke up to smell the coffee ( thankfully)
I wonder what MT would do with SKS, make him squirm I’d imagine , :0)))
MacMillan closed the most: 246 during the times that “we never had it so good” 1957- 1963 Previously Churchill had closed 78 and Eden 35. There was little protest at mine closures during this time or throughout Wilson’s time in office.
unfortunately, mr starmer has the unfortunate skill of making any issue sound boring and irrelevant with his monotone delivery . . .
She's eat him for breakfast - and spit out the bones.
