It's a good job Cameron did walk away otherwise God only knows what kind of pig's ear of a deal we might have been landed with. May was a huge disappointment; Maggie Mark II she wasn't. It was Boris who took the bull by the horns and did the job.

I somehow can't imagine Gully.knowing what "Double carpet" is Tora. He may have you laying down a nice shag pile in his living room if he won.
I somehow can't imagine gully knowing very much generally mozz.
3/1 is a 'carpet' so 33/1 is a 'double carpet'.
I'm not commenting on that. I let Gully start the abusive comments and keep the moral high ground. I just mean he does not look like a betting man to me.
I used to support Labour (long time ago) but KS and the factions he has to deal with simply don't float my boat.

I too was staunch labour , it was sacrilege not to be in these parts ,then came Teflon Tony , Gordon Brown et al,I believed in DC too ( how wrong was that? ) he was a coward who walked away , May was a ditherer, ha! and they call Boris , he was a breath of fresh air who’s had the hardest task of any PM post war

bang on JD, both Dave and Treason would have done a Brino deal.
Boris a 'breath of fresh air' lol! He's the epitome of an upper class Conservative fool, 'Tim Nice but Dim' springs to mind...LoL!

Boris is no buffoon or fool, you don't get to be PM by being nice but dim. I know he is a scholar of some renown, though that doesn't get you far in politics generally, but i'd wager that he will stay the distance, no matter what some people on here and elsewhere think.
Jackdaws best answer is spot on - whatever you think of Boris he’s got on with it! Personally I actually like him lol.
so do i, he's had a lot to put up with that's for sure.
He doesn’t try to be one of these better than thou stuck up politicians. Just him and his wild hair lol!
Arriving in the autumn term of 1977, Eton, he began using his middle name Boris rather than his first name Alex, and developed "the eccentric English persona" for which he became famous. School reports complained about his idleness, complacency and lateness, but he was popular and well known at Eton.

So his personality is all an 'act' developed to hide his American roots.
//So his personality is all an 'act' developed to hide his American roots.//

There's a big a leap between what you said and your curious conclusion to say the least, APG.
APG, Why would Boris want to hide hes American roots?
Maybe doesn't want folk to know that he's not a natural blond.
Danny -I have no idea why Boris would want to hide his American roots, save for the fact he has been cultivating this 'Ecentric English Gentleman' persona since school . He must have some motivation -probably entrenched in the ridiculous class system in the UK -who knows -best ask er....Boris.....er...but wear a mask...er no masks have no effect whatsoever...er...yes they do cos....err ....Chriss...err Whitty said so...
APG, Why state something that you admit to having no idea about?
I don’t think he’s ever tried to hide his American roots. God know where you got that from, APG, other than from your own head - and I don’t think he plays at being eccentric either. I think he is rather eccentric.
