I will if going somewhere crowded where I don't trust others to keep a safe distance.
I will be happy to ditch my mask.

So much of our communication is through facial gestures, it makes interaction with strangers difficult.

I want to be able to smile and have the person I am smiling at see that I am doing so, and a mask stops that.

Plus they steam my glasses up!!

Goodbye masks, don't hurry back ...
Yes, steamed-up glasses is my big problem too.
I am pleased for those who can afford to ditch their masks. However, there will be many I am sure who, like us, cannot because of chemo and its negative affect on immune systems. So please don't scoff those who continue to wear masks for some time to come.
Rarely wear one anyway, I simply dont go in shops, online all the way. Probably wont go back either.

And I know another person who will be glad this ridiculousness stops - my daughter. She is profoundly deaf(since birth) and relies on lip reading. Been a nightmare throughout her pregnancy.

As for the gel, even the hospitals are not insisting on it being used, they dont seem too bothered on the masks either.
Good point, ymb, I have never seen anyone wearing the plastic faced masks to allow for lip reading.

Anyone who has refused to be vaccinated should be made to keep wearing them.
Ah+ jd. Theres a solution to steamed up glasses( learned from my biker days) coat the lenses with fairy.Rinse under hot tap for 30secs. Leave to dry. Viola!
Hoppy ru referring to 1 aber.
Boing boing!
No, just all anti vaxxers.
Definitely not if I don't have to. I still believe people have been utterly conned via fear tactics into thinking an odd bit of paper or dress material has protected others (and many think it has protected them as well) when I think the protection has been absolutely minimal. PS I have worn a mask without fail wherever I've been expected to.
Yes I will continue to wear one in the supermarket etc but especially so come the winter
Like Prudie, I think that a lot of people just wear them to conform to expectations and would gladly ditch them at the first opportunity. I know I would.
that's me JD, I would in a heartbeat
All the shops I go in have sanitizers at the door and at various places around the shop/store. I'll be glad when they're gone, I can't stand the smell.
Not if I don't have to. I've never worn a mask unless it was compulsory for going in shops, etc. I think it's horrible seeing everyone walking around 'faceless'.
Only good thing about masks is that you can mouth insults at someone without them knowing what you said.
Mine will go straight into the bin as soon as possible, can't wait !
Agree with Dave, and poking your tongue out without them knowing!
