Changes To Petrol

I heard on the radio news this morning that there were some changes to petrol which could affect cars manufactured before 2011, but I can't see anything online. I didn't catch the full story as I was on the school run. Does anyone know what I'm on about?

Well I fuelled up a few days ago, and the pump said E10.
