I noticed that at the end they shuffled Max Headroom in ... who, in his usual predictable boring drone, said that Boris was reckless, putting us all at risk of an agonising death, jeopardising World peace, dooming the economy to years of capitalism, and failing to promise "self isolators" a Million quid a week for as long as it takes. It wasn't quite as...

Baz I’ve just waved to you ;0)
somebody has a difficult decision - is it more important to vaccinate all British under 18s, or to donate more jabs to less well-off countries?

if the latter, will there be dispensation for unvaccinated kids to return from holiday in "amber" countries with their fully jabbed parents?
I know a 16 yr old who had a vaccination last Saturday. Rochdale are offering it to anyone over 16. It's not part of the national plan, but apparently Rochdale has a surplus of vaccine, so it's on offer.
So pleased to be rid of the compulsory mask wearing. I know certain medics are saying we should still wear them but I'm prepared to take my chances, although if I had not had both jabs I might feel differently.
Personally I found the 2m rule hardest, as I don't tend to be that distance from people I am speaking to. I know I have inadvertently broken it many times, so very pleased to see it go.
I wonder what effect this removal of restrictions will have on people who declined the jab,(of which I know several), will they became more vulnerable as life opens up again? Just a thought!
10CS, I wonder if that’s because of a low uptake among the immigrant population?

i'm not so sure that will happen. willing to bet it was thrown out there as an idea, and the resultant tsunami of disagreement is likely to cause a rethink.

I wear a mask to protect others so I’ve been told so if I’m in an environment where no one wears one, then they aren’t protecting me , so I won’t wear one
Damned if he did and damned if he didn't by the look of it.

I think Naomi could be right re some of the Asian community haven’t responded to the call to be jabbed although I’ve no problem with those who don’t want the vaccine ,it’s their choice and I respect that

Because I think they’ve exhausted everything else weecalf and eventually have had to concede, we have to live with it
I'm quite happy for mask wearing to be voluntary, just so long as I can throw mine in the bin !!
