It may not be so straightforward as Pritti Useless imagines:

This tells the tale of one asylum seeker who, so the story goes was an
"...alleged victim of modern slavery and torture and was deported due to an "illegal and secret" Home Office policy and should be brought back. The 38-year-old Sudanese man, who can only be identified by the initials AA, made an asylum claim in the UK in June 2020 after fleeing to Europe due to torture and persecution in Sudan. The man said he was later enslaved and tortured in Libya while travelling to France, where his asylum claim was first rejected."
So, "enslaved and tortured" in Libya, manages to get to France, they reject his claim for asylum so he hoofs it in a rubber boat to the UK. He's thrown out, but a judge says he must be brought back. and the Home Secretary is thinking of making it an offence to arrive without papers (which I think it already is - try pitching up at Gatwick sans papiers and see how far you get).
NJ sets off for the local hospital to have his sides stitched up.
