OK, here is a sample post. I think it's racist. What do you think, naomi? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E6EuBOuXEAMvaz2?format=jpg&name=medium Or what about this one: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E6EuBOsXIAcA5fH?format=jpg&name=medium

Bold of you to assume that football was anything other than an excuse.
Kicks in tribal instincts to attack and defend, sadly.

Totally idiotic especially as only 3 of the England squad had no history of immigration to the UK in their recent family line.
The immigration comment was referring to the line up that played against Denmark, not Italy.

There aren't many other sports where the national team's performance is seen as connected in this strange way to national prestige and identity... that only seems to happen with football (and to a lesser extent with the olympics).
It's not just national though, it's local. In the 70s shops and houses close to football grounds used to board up their windows on derby days.
^There arent any other spectator sports as popular as football, maybe thats why?
Football is a beacon for the weak-minded of the parish and those who could have a word with the mouth breathers haven't.

It's how the Tartan Army came to be, by weeding out the scum and letting enthusiasts enjoy the game.

Tartan Army?
Yes, a group of noisy but non-violent supporters on another of the home nations on the inevitable journey to doom.

Maybe one day England will have something similar.
When the Scots fans pulled down the goalpost s at Wembley back in the day was that before the Tartan Army?

Is this an example of Tartan Army now
Yes, that incident was before the Tartan Army
He knows, barry, he knows, he just wanted to post video of his Scottish cousin in action. :-)
Thanks, just read this.

Sounds like something that would be good for England fans. Though friends in London felt extremeley threatened by hoards of noisy Scotland supporters chanting and letting off flares while drinking tinnies and taking over the station and streets in London for the recent game
I'm with Jim here. These imbeciles are just racists using football as an excuse.

Do they seriously think they are safe from detection because they're online? They will be found and hopefully prosecuted.
Bad behaviour by some "fans" is one of the major reasons why I never chose to follow football. I think it was Millwall were the bad boys back in the day.
Truly despicable behaviour by the racists who hide behind anonymity online and truly despicable and dangerous behaviour by the 'fans' who stormed Wembley.

I wait with bated breath to hear from those who purport to abhor racism to speak up.
Soccer is just the vehicle as jim says but they do seem to attract a lot of racists, especially in the former soviet bloc countries. Hopefully they'll be rounded up and prosecuted.
Given that response TTT, I think that you are the racist here.
//former soviet bloc countries// So no English then?
Oooh, what's happened to your England flag TTT? Why have you gone back to the big fat one? Do tell.
have a day off maggie, what part of "Soccer is just the vehicle as jim says but they do seem to attract a lot of racists" - is confusing you? Yes the whole spectrum of supporters have their racist elements, ok??
