Not in this thread, no. Let's just say that the fella who called a bunch of us, myself inclided, anti-British for daring to like the national anthems of other countries, is becoming a bit of a repetitive joke figure.
Believe that and you’ll believe anything Bobbi. Nicola clearly waits to see what Boris will say so that she can be contrary. She does it all the time. The woman is power mad.
Well summed up Mozz.

Is this what the News topic has come to?

She called me a name, I'll call her a worse name (but in gobbledegook)?

It's not even funny.
TTT, I’ve seen a couple of people lately say you’re not a cockney Londoner. Is that true?
/// Let's just say that the fella ... [...] ... is becoming a bit of a repetitive joke figure.///

I'll say, EUSSR for example used well over 1,000 times (Ab stops counting at 1,000). Utterly boring (and boorish).

Naomi, Yes, I'm originally from Saaaafend! I've never claimed to be a cockney, I am very interested in slang, dialects, accents etc. I am fascinated by rhyming slang and it's history. I enjoy using it especially for effect on here and I get a good effect. I don't know why it seems to annoy people. I think It's fun and adds colour to posts. How dull would it be on here if we all bashed out grammatically correct written mogadon?
Thanks ttt. Much of the time I haven’t a clue what you’re talking about - and I was born and bred in the East End!!

right oh treacle!
I do like trying to work it out. Not always successful but I do think it's fun.
Naomi that’s what I inferred till Asquith came crashing in like a female Robert the Bruce
// It’s quite noticeable that she waits for the Westminster announcement then makes a one she thinks Scotland will want, it’s like a oneupmanship thing with her ///
The second bit was T.I.C
I’m with LB,it’s harmless fun and I try working it out as well
I wonder how many people will be binning their masks on the 19th?
Sandy I’ll wear one if required to so There'll always be one in my bag
I won't have my second vaccination until August so I'll play safe until then and wear a mask when I'm in shops or crowded areas. After that I'll look for official advice about when they might be safely discarded.
You might find you’ll get word to have it earlier Sandy
//I won't have my second vaccination until August so I'll play safe until then and wear a mask when I'm in shops or crowded areas.//

Be careful, the mask has never been about protecting you, just supposedly others.

If I was you I would keep the 2m apart, that is far more effective anyway.
I would have been binning mine if the government had not done yet another u turn and gone back on 'freedom day'. Saying they will be no longer mandatory is utterly pointless if on the other hand they then say that they will leave it up to supermarkets etc. to make the final decision. Of course supermarkets won't let us bin them, but I will try to get in without one if I can ...
In which part of Scotland do you think folk pronounce "border" as "birdha"?
I shouldn't worry Corby, it's just Tora's anti-Scottishness. He's full of so much hatred, I think the poor lamb needs a hug.
