Ich she did not float Australian quarantine rules. She ridiculed them. As usual naomi24 puts it quite succinctly. At 11.32.

As for “the reputation going before her” that is doubtless why she was asked to take part in the first place.
As I indicated earlier, both parties probably got what they deserved.

The clincher may have been go “I’ll go naked” threat.
