A popular American author - oh well, someone will delve and find out. I am pretty sure that I am correct in saying that Harry did not pass English G.C.S.E.. Talk in scholastic circles was that he had the worst results Eton had ever had.
That in itself does not matter one jot or whittle - he was made to be a man of action and was good at that. We can't all be academic and I defend, fiercely, practical courses and ways forward for those otherwise talented. I always have - 'horses for courses'. Point is that he is lost and well outside his zone. He is being, and will continue to be 'used', and believes that he is being brave, honest etc.. I am now quite sorry for him - but he is causing such hurt, of which he seems to be unaware. Moving further and further away from the possibility of reconciliation.
