The Majority Of People In Shops Still Seem To Be Wearing Masks.
I've been in a few shops since restrictions were lifted, without wearing a mask and it seems I am in a minority at the moment. I am left wondering if people are indeed following advice by wearing the mask indoors in public places or is it a case not wanting to be one of the first to take it off, hence everyone is looking at what everyone else is doing and just going with the flow. My wife went into town yesterday and she did exactly that, entered the shop without a mask, saw everyone else was wearing one and so she put hers on as she didn't want to stand out. Perhaps mask wearing will indeed continue by consent for a while yet as the government is hoping.

After all, even if you have had two jabs you can still catch it and end up in hospital. I went into Waitrose yesterday and all the customers were wearing masks, none of the staff were, so I will go elsewhere to shop now. Personally I think compulsory mask wearing will be back with other restrictions by late summer.
