I don't think it'll be disastrous like it was for Ratner but people don't like to have their noses ribbed in it like this.

It's an odd thing to say but I doubt it will affect him one iota. Share prices may fall as traders often use such things to play the markets but they will soon stabilize.

All his dosh was gained lawfully, how he spends it is up to him & his stupid space caper must have at least produced a lot of employment. Amazon is a great service, living in a rural location in a 'forrin' country, I use it a great deal, & whatever he says or does wont stop that.

I doubt it. I use Amazon a lot, for a lot of choice and good service. While I would have preferred him to put his money to better use, it's his choice.

What's under discussion now is Bezos's comment, "I also want to thank every Amazon employee and every Amazon customer because you guys paid for all this" ...

It's a stupid thing to say, but it won't have Ratner type repercussions because Amazon is more embedded into modern life that Rather's ever was.
