Something about repeating the same action and expecting a different outcome.

You can run but you can't hide.

It just might return to bite them on the bum Douglas, I’m just a layperson but head above parapet time, I’ve never thought it came from a wet market, more likely a lab
The Delta variant has reached China.
First spotted at the airport.
Not sure why that is a shock, wasn’t it always inevitable?
They say it came from a plane from Russia they were cleaning. That maybe dont fit with what they found on london transport where there was no evidence of the virus on surfaces
The London Transport testing was hardly extensive.
They took samples from 2 Tube stations, 1 Tube line, 1 Tube train, 1 bus depot and 1 bus journey.

Cleaning a plane probably had the same aircon on the passengers had been breathing.
Fair point. Okay so you have no doubt that's how it came to wuhan?
I don't believe they've ever been Covid-free.
It came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

You reap what you sow.
And the rest of the world reaped it too, sadly ...
// It came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. //

The Delta Variant came from India.
It's a mutated version of the one created in China.
Covid 19 originated in China. There is absolutely no evidence it was ‘created, there.
Geometric, there's stacks of evidence. Where have you been for the last 18 months?
^^That should read Gromit obviously...
What goes around, comes round I guess, but I don't believe the figures coming from China. I reckon they've had more cases and deaths than they're letting on.
China is a closed society ,why else wouldn’t they allow the WHO to investigate immediately, they made them wait over a week till they covered their backs
// '[Lab leak is] a conspiracy theory which requires many people conspiring to hide it in order to be true. There are many safeguards in place to ensure [a lab escape] does not happen. Not only would I not be able to cover it up, it would be unlikely to occur at all because of the training and safety protocols. It couldn't be hidden.

'There is no new data indicating that it is the cause. A lab escape had always been plausible but there is no new evidence. Proponents have treated old evidence as though it's new. That doesn't suddenly give it fresh credibility it didn't have before.' //
// The genetic makeup or “genome” of SARS-CoV-2 has been sequenced and publicly shared thousands of times by scientists all over the world. If the virus had been genetically engineered in a lab there would be signs of manipulation in the genome data. This would include evidence of an existing viral sequence as the backbone for the new virus, and obvious, targeted inserted (or deleted) genetic elements.

But no such evidence exists. It is very unlikely that any techniques used to genetically engineer the virus would not leave a genetic signature, like specific identifiable pieces of DNA code. //

Gromit, what you've posted there is damage limitation by people - scientists with a vested interest in playing down these rumours.

This virus has a genetic footprint that has never been seen in a virus before - which highly suggests it was messed about with. Evidence was destroyed. Did you even look at my link?

Yes I did. Did you?
The quote at 13:26 is from your link.
