I have been previously against allowing Shamima Begum to return back to England, but having read this article - which in turn relates to a film called 'The Return', available on SKY and NOW TV (which I can't get). I have to say I have had a change of mind.

If you haven't been dibbing into the TLS you should, if you so wish, be able to read this short article & if you do, what do you think?

It’s a pity the focus is all in one person . Khandro’s link is about the refugee situation in general. And quite rightly the consequences of leaning these people in such conditions. Even the Americans have been appalled at the situation and what appears a “head in sand” attitude by Britain, It’s hard to see how any of this makes us safer

I agree the gel could play the game
" I want to get to a place where I can practise my religion in peace"

not exactly a USP ( unique selling point silly ) for entry to Britain

and the bits we hear about bullying in el-Hawl seem to be true.
Still recommend The Black Crows, Netflix. kick off at episode 2
In any case the matter has been decided by the highest authority in the land. She ain't coming back. Res Judicata, as PP might say.
res judicata - as PP certainly does say

and a lorra lorra judges too ( nods head in J Judy fashion, and rolls eyes like JJ as well)

I dont know what the grounds for appeal for Shameemz case is
error in law ( certainly )
and markedly changed circs? - not sure

Whether she will or can come back isn't my point, my point is that I have changed my mind.
To add fuel to the flames of AB; Donald Trump was right (as he often was) when he called on countries to take their nationals back, & empty these disgraceful camps teeming with children without a future.

"The Europeans (led by the British) have steadfastly refused, & ramped up the populist vilification, as if the walls of Whitehall would crumble if one young teenage girl should be allowed to return home."
She ain't no teenage girl.

Khandro, If people died as a result of her return how would you feel? Would you be pleased you’d given her the benefit of the doubt?
Donald Trump was indeed right khandro (he had to be occasionally!)
In any case it is not in her interests to return. Those who have lost loved ones at the hands of militant Islam will want revenge. She is likely to be hunted down and her own head ending up in a bucket. Not that I would shed any tears.
less chance of most UK citizens linking up with a load of lunatics and causing death and destruction

and yet that's what happened. She was a UK citizen. That's why she should be allowed back. I'm not bothered if she's locked up for a very long time, but she was raised in Britain, she gained her beliefs in Britain, and that to me makes her a British problem, not a Bangladeshi (or other) one.
She’s a problem we can do without.
how many islamists have arrived by dinghy? im more concerned about them and our safety, let alone the cost to the tax payer.

jack //She ain't no teenage girl.//

She is now just 21, she started to try to return 2 years ago when she WAS a teenager.
A teenager with a 50 year old head on her shoulders - and she’s one of the lucky ones. At least her pals left her head on her shoulders.
//I'm not bothered if she's locked up for a very long time, but she was raised in Britain, she gained her beliefs in Britain, and that to me makes her a British problem, not a Bangladeshi (or other) one.//

There are many, many undesirable people in the UK, most of whom we cannot rid ourselves of. This one we can. She upped sticks and went elsewhere and has been denied re-entry. Quite why we should want to see her back here because it is where she was raised and gained her beliefs is a little mysterious.

This country (along with a few others) needs to understand that it cannot cure the world's ills. There are places in the world that are beyond redemption and some people in them that are likewise. This woman is one of them and we're best off without.
Is her husband in jail - isn't he Dutch? They could go live in Holland.
Wee Sturgeon could invite her and her terrorist husband to Scotland.Gulliver could put them up above his mams chip shop(and in between making bombs to kill innocent men, women and children)they could be preparing deep-fried Mars Bars suppers instead.
You know that you give the impression of not being very bright, don't you?

Crowbarring la Sturgeon into any and all comment.
Why is it that anyone who displays a scrap of humanity on AB is immediately classed as a "bleeding heart liberal"?
They’re not.
