Ichkeria, you’re confused. TTT’s reference to the ‘usual dance’ relates to those who deny reality. His personal suspicions that Islamists are likely to have been involved do not. No sneakiness here.

Of course Tora... how grateful you must be that nonsensical naomi rode in to your defense!
TTT - so what are you going to do , when another mass shooting hits the news .

Post with the same title ?

baz: "TTT - so what are you going to do , when another mass shooting hits the news .

Hi Tora: I don’t think the issue is thinking it might be Moslem terror-related.
I have to say that seemed rather unlikely here but the point is in most awful cases like this no one really knows what may have happened for a while. I don’t think anyone is trying to dance around anything

untitled: "Of course Tora... how grateful you must be that nonsensical naomi rode in to your defense! " - Defence? of what? Naomi merely explained the headline to those pretending they don't know what the "usual dance" is.
Six people are dead and here we are arguing over what Tora meant with his thread title.

Highly disrespectful to the victims of this lunatic.
// I predict that atrocities of this nature are usually muslim terrorists and they usually are. It's stands to reason that occasionally it's not them. //

Taking a tragedy such as this one and the German one where children were killed, and using it to promote your Islamaphobia, is frankly sickening.
While it may be true that terrorists can strike anywhere, making the assumption that they have when you seem to know nothing about the area does a disservice to the victims and the community.
It was stated from the early reports that it was not terrorist related so that at least that speculation *should* have been stopped in its tracks.
'"What is the benefit of jumping in early? Why couldn't you just wait for the facts?" - because it's a tradition,'

It's not "tradition", in this instance, it's bigotry.
Looks to me like TTT gave naomi the best answer then pulled the rug from under her with his explanation
"because it's a tradition, it's the whole point, I predict that atrocities of this nature are usually muslim terrorists and they usually are."

i ask again... what is the benefit of doing so? All you are doing is using awful tragedies to score points... it is a scummy thing to do.
I don’t feel that he’s pulled any rug from under me. I explained what he meant and he agreed. It really is hard work round here at times.
I feel that this thread reflects very badly on AB and must be injurious to the reputation of the site - it is intensely disrespectful to the people killed and utterly inappropriate in the circumstances.

I've reported it for editorial inspection.
Sunny dave,
I reported it last night and nothing happened.
Jake Davison was a far right nut job. Nothing to see here

// From what we can glean of his social media, he was a supporter of Donald Trump, describing himself in 2018 as a supporter in “libertarian nationalist government”. He also Liked several political pages on Facebook, including UKIP and the former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, the racist libertarian Stefan Molyneux, far-right media outlet Breitbart, the French far-right figurehead Marin Le Pen, and the far-right social media personality Katie Hopkins. He also Liked a group titled “Duterte Hardcore Supporters”, referring to the Phillipino president notorious for his support of extrajudicial violence.

On YouTube, he followed a number of political channels, including that of the far-right vlogger Lauren Southern and the conspiracy theorist Paul Joseph Watson. He was also a keen follower of US gun culture. //

Question Author

Obviously a very troubled young man who also struggled with relationships.
Maybe we should leave it at that...this bickering is distasteful to say the least.
