About who comes up with some of these headlines / statements/ forecasts of these newspaper, I was always under the impression you needed a high level of education.
After just turning my computer on, the homepage was showing a Daily mail headline. Quote, Britain will be (HIT) by rain, as warning is issued for thunderstorms. Do they really get paid for producing this rubbish. I mean after all we don't see much rain do we.
Well it is a kind of weather forecast, but when they make it a main frame on your homepage, you got to wonder, and think they must be stuck for any real shocking news.
I'm not sure what you are on about, the DM page doesnt seem to have the weather or is it something set on your browser?
Remember the DM, and some similar 'free' news sites rely heavily on advertising, as does AB. They often write headlines so you will click on them so they gain advertising revenue. So called clickbait.
I suspect the DM also use interns and not just UK ones judging by the spelling used (US), This also leads to some odd headlines.
