Boris Launches "Operation warm welcome" for Afghan refugees arriving in Britain. Thank god they are out of that hell hole. Where and how will he find houses for these families I see one family alone has twenty members.

Well there are plenty of jobs waiting for them in the UK .if they want to support themselves and their families.... loads of work.

I don't know why they can't all stay inLondon. I was reading a report about the distribution of migrants and the North East gets most with the North West second and London about sixth. London should take more.

Most of these refugees are men , there are plenty of vacancies for truck drivers live in their cab type of thing ,that would help fill supermarket shelves and help the housing crisis. Bingo.

We have quite a few Afghan families coming to our Borough. Good luck to them. Like most immigrants, they will want to go where the work is (not Devon and Cornwall as a previous poster said as there is not much work there) I don't expect to see many of them walking to Sainsburys in their PJs and slippers and having kids at 15 whilst living off the Social.

Not a good idea giving refugees truck driver jobs in the UK , they would bring more refugees into the country in the back of their trucks , forget that one

Afghans will have had plenty of practice driving Toyota Hilux pick ups on the potholed streets of Kandahar, driving a waitrose lorry down the M1 will be a doddle by comparison

I do hope if the uk citizens were in need of refuge that somewhere we would be accepted even though were not well liked due to our arrogant tourists and the attitude we displayed towards our own and others at the euro football

Good News, Taliban says it will allow more people to leave Afghanistan for the UK ,even after troops have left, providing they are eligible so a lot more could get out and get to the UK.
