ala michael gove story, this made me laugh although i do not go to night clubs anymore
erm 30 odd yrs ago perhaps, and only rock night clubs blues bars etc, but as for the story
if it makes people feel good go for it, ban hahaha pathetic.

Taking drugs etc is surprisingly not compulsory when you go clubbing, most of us managed without.

I can't speak for Mr Gove, he has history in that regard.

I can sort of see the point of what she said but cant ban on age these days!

As for Gove, I'm not a fan, but who cares what he does or if he enjoys himself once in a while. It seemed to do Ed Balls the world of good, one could see him in a totally different light, a positive one.

This reminds me of one of the most embarrassing evenings of my life when my uncle in his 50s decided to take me to a nightclub to celebrate my 23rd (I think) birthday.
It haunts me still ...

Shouldn't be banned, but why on earth would anybody in their 40s and beyond want to go to a nightclub?

I was a big clubber - I used to really love it, and then 20 years ago, when I was 30, I went to a club and realised I must have been a good 10 years older than most and that I had turned into the 'old' man of the club (the man that I used to think when I first started going to clubs, 'what's that old fella doing here'). I didn't even get a drink, walked out, and haven't been in one since.

music in nightclubs is jarring, repetitive computer drums and thumping bass, and what sounds like a cat but must be a woman?
wailing at the top of there lungs, sadly all sounds the same, and you also get that gangsta rap and again all sounds the same, everything seems to have to rhyme with b@tch ho and driveby and hood.. pop a cap..

Good luck to him. Age and ability shouldn't count. If he was enjoying himself, then good for him. Dancing is great. People shouldn't be judemental.
