hmm I read all N's posts: it doesnt mean I understand any of them
ter daah ! - ( erm too deep for me, too deep they are)

Is shaving a beard anti-Islamic? No, it's not anti-Islamic at all. Some people think the act of cutting, shaving, or trimming the beard is haram but it isn't. ... You are allowed to keep your beard if you want, just make sure to follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W).10 Jul 2020

hey boys and girls let the bullshotting begin !

impt notice - if anyone comes here, is here for an interpretation of any part of the Koran please please look elsewhere
Merely an accurate observation, supported by the content of your own posts, AH.

You don't seem to be able to get your head around the fact that some people know more about some things than you do. I wouldn't dream of entering into an argument about, say, technology, simply because I know nothing about it. I'd far rather listen and learn from those who do. I never mind saying I don't know - if I don't.
PP, //Is shaving a beard anti-Islamic? No, it's not anti-Islamic at all//

Yes it is.

There you go, it's that 'interpretation' thingy again!!

One person's 'accurate observation' is another person's 'personal attack' - but as is clear from this thread, interpretation is something you don't wish to discuss in any meaningful way.

You have advanced that view before several times, and several times you were wrong, and you are wrong now.

I have no problem taking information from anyone, provided that I believe that they actually know about what they are talking about, and not simply pretending and never offering any actual evidence.

I talk about music, and I can offer abundant proof of my knowledge and ability to discuss it, should anyone feel the need to require it.

You talk about Islam, with no evidence of your 'studies' other than the fact that you offer your views in a dogmatic style that infers knowledge, while;e not actually confirming it.

// I never mind saying I don't know - if I don't. //

Indeed, and you never mind saying you do know, even if you don't.
Well, that fell on deaf ears. No change there.
AH have you been on your cruise yet and how did it go? I seem to remember it was about this time of year or earlier.
Sorry TTT for changing the subject.
naomi - // Well, that fell on deaf ears. No change there. //

When you are challenged and find yourself unable to reply in a reasonable fashion, you resort to scoffing, and then simply ignoring posts addressed to you, it's an easy way of walking away and returning another day as if nothing has happened.

It's not an especially adult way to address a debate in which you are keen to espouse your views until challenged, but that's the way you have always behaved, regulars know and expect it.

No change there indeed!!
ladybirder - I will post a response in CB to avoid diversion - thank you for asking.
Good idea. Thank you.
AH, I only walk about from nonsense. Sensible questions I answer. I've told you several times where to go if you really want to learn about Islam. Try it.
Mondays must be very slow in the music biz
naomi - // AH, I only walk about from nonsense. //

One person's 'nonsense' is another person's legitimate challenge.

That pesky 'interpretation' gets everywhere doesn't it - no wonder you don;t want to discuss it, when it trips you up with such tedious regularity.
naomi - // I've told you several times where to go if you really want to learn about Islam. Try it. //

Do I need you to point me in the right direction for anything, ever?

Err .....
Stickybottle - // Mondays must be very slow in the music biz //

I wouldn't know, I just work in it, I'm not the entire thing.

Decided to avoid debating with me sensibly have you?

Very wise.
Difficult to debate with some one who has a mindset of not being able or willing to condemn the most horrific regime since Pol Pot
Never mind
o god boy and girl
stop squabbling ! - and get back to the thread - Taliban pacifying and civilising Afghanistan
lordy lordy
stickybottle - // Difficult to debate with some one who has a mindset of not being able or willing to condemn the most horrific regime since Pol Pot
Never mind //

I refer you to my post at 12:18 - clearly you have not read it yet.
watch out sticky botty !
too much wisdom on this thread again !
Andy hughes it's far easier to let Naomi have the last word , then she can scurry away to the Knit & Natter club at the WVS. They must be missing her by now.
