//Try as they may, some people appear to be life's losers, failing consistently to get along with those around them, finding themselves, metaphorically, walking the plank on a regular basis, and very often blaming anyone and anything apart from themselves.//
Sounds very like you on this post Naomi, blethering on about things you know nothing of.

//This is a world crisis…//
This isn’t a world crisis, pat. It’s a problem that has been visited mainly on the UK. The reason for that is that successive UK governments have played blind obedience to the climate change zealots who seem to think that the effects of reducing “emissions” are far less serious than allowing the country’s energy supplies to be placed in jeopardy by being dependent on a particularly unfriendly foreign power. Most of the UK’s “Green” policies seem to depend on stopping burning things here but to gain the benefits from something being burned somewhere else. Quite frankly it is absurd. The lunatics are now well and truly in control of the asylum and nobody seems willing to take that control away from them.
//I doubt we cause much pollution…//
I doubt it too, pat. In fact I know that the UK does not cause much pollution – around 1% of the global total. Yet the country is driving its economy, industry and its people into energy penury by its farcical attempts towards becoming “net zero” contributors. Some 30,000 people are to converge on Glasgow next month with the message that we must stop burning things. I hope they all come by bike.
