You reap what you sow and Gully deserves everything he gets. I tried ignoring him, but others don't and then reasonable questions and debates get gullyised and spoiled. And it will carry on.
Gulliver- if an Election is magically called, what do you think the result would be? Do you think that Keir Starmer would actually have a chance of winning?
And who will you vote for gulliver?
and just who would you replace them with????,labour..no reform...no

Fellow Supporters of Owen Paterson say they are furious that the rug has been pulled from under his feet , by the abrupt announcement that the Govt were ditching plans for a new ......"Tory dominated commitee".. to rewrite Common standard procedures... which would have granted Paterson a stay of execution ....after being found guilty of being paid for lobbying......
And ? Do you agree with them? If you dont vote here am not sure why your so interested

What's the point of an election, when there's no credible opposition?

Didn't realise how many raw nerves I touched with my posts.
In 11 words Spungle has answered the question concisely.

All of that preceded has been rendered pointless.
Everybody has one friend who’s a bit of an idiot, but they’re indulged because they’re generally harmless and usually amusing.

You’re that person Gulliver.
// Supporters of Owen Paterson say they are furious that the rug has been pulled from under his feet , by the abrupt announcement that the Govt were ditching plans for a new "Tory dominated committee". //

The rug was pulled from under their feet by Paterson resigning.
why not scrap the whole lot and have a president?
yeah foo roy I heark back to the days when thing were much saner: up to five Brexit threads spread evenly across AB - including some in the "I am completely mental" section

all saying the same thing: all set up by TTT
Question Author
P/[email protected] ....The.. " I am completely mental section".... was that the category specially set up for Deskdiary ?
Maybe that sections reserved for those that dont vote on Brexit or in GE but then time after time go on about the result just as a wind up

No I voted in both. Did you?
Have we quite finished the victimisation here on this, I would say 'sensible necessary' excellent thread on 'theanswerback' News section.. predictable views and opinions make for entertaining and at times amusing reading. ;O)

A quick anagram.. General Election = electing real one (not a phoney!)

Worth a read for background information..

I'd say we need a REVOLUTION !!!

It took me a re-read to work out why H. G. Wells was mentioned..

'wow gromit, is HG Wells running the campaign?'

Then I spotted the 2014 typo by Gromit.

FYI H. G. Wells ran as a Labour Party candidate for London University in the 1922 and 1923 general elections..
