A Fudge By Nicola Sturgeon
44 Answers
Nicola Sturgeon has failed to act properly in her weekly performance on Covid She has ruled out extending vaccine passports to bars cafes etc which I think is a mistake and worst of all last week John Swinney said he was planning on tightening up regulations on mask wearing, something that has not been done. This is a total failure things are going to get worse

Like doctors and scientists and health professionals, with far more expertise than us, who studies these things for years not just watched youtube or read facebook or listened to people like us on here . If you call Van Tam and Whitty self appointed experts then thats an odd use of English or Scottish.
What you mean is them who dont agree with you?

There's nothing odd about the question at all. And there's nothing unexpected in your answer. I'm just interested to learn how long people believe these precautions and restrictions should continue in attempts to abate a disease which has a very low chance of causing serious symptoms and an even lower chance of leading to death.
It's interesting you should mention typhoid. Without treatment that disease has a mortality rate of somewhere between 20% and 30%. The vast majority of people who contract Covid do not even need any medical treatment, let alone die from it. Rabies is somewhat different. Once symptoms develop it is almost invariably fatal. But more important than that, it cannot be passed from human to human. So if they could walk, it wouldn't really matter if those infected with rabies were out and about.
In short, the two diseases you mention are not in any way comparable.
