Sorry To Keep Going On But.....
Why in all the discussions in the media about omicron does nobody ask the question why if we have the jabs is everybody panicking? All they talk about is rising infections and possible further restrictions. Its as though the vaccinations never happened. Can someone please explain?

It is not going to kill everyone it meets, so if a lot of us get a mild 'fluey virus - so what? I believe that there are about 6 million unvaccinated. Well, quite a few of those will have had it and not known about it (I know one 80 yr. old lady who lived isolated, had all food delivered, hasn't seen anyone close to for over a year, who turned out to have had Covid at some point!
Of the rest of the unvaccinated, the vast majority will have it equally mildly or as a petty virus of a few days. The majority will probably be children. Very, very few deaths and hospitalisations will result.
The NHS is the major culprit here i.m.o.. The management is a disgrace. The whole lot needs re-thinking. They have obviously screamed yet again about 'not coping'. They are useless and even I could streamline their systems, based on my experiences in France. Note - I'm not talking about medical staff.
Something stinks here, I think.
Courage, mes braves. :)
